The Two Bethlehem's

There are two Bethlehem's located
in Israel. The most famous of the two is     
located in the southern part of Israel in 
Judah. This is the city where Jesus was
born. In Micah 5:2 it is called Bethlehem
Ephrathah. Genesis 35:19 mentions                          
Rachael dying on the way to Ephrath; 
"So Rachael died and was buried on the
way to Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem)."     


The northern city of Bethlehem is mentioned only once in the bible, specifically in Joshua 19:10-15. It was located about 6 miles NW of Nazareth in the land of Zebulun.
